My persuasive writing.

I believe it is bad to throw all your rubbish in the landfill. My first reason. I believe that you can reuse wood that is broken. There are lots of other stuff you can reuse. Like paper, broken leg of a bed, plastic drink bottles and other stuff. I don’t like throwing my rubbish in the landfill. It is disrespectful to the earth because all of the Hazardous stuff that is in the landfill will pollute the earth. My second reason is, I believe you can recycle your rubbish. Like cardboard, paper, glass, metal, organic/food scraps and plastic containers. My third reason is, I believe it’s bad to throw your rubbish in a hole then cover it up because it takes too long to break down. That’s all of my reasons. Do you agree or disagree?.

School trip.

Friday 10th of February Tautoro School went on a trip to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds.

The five places we visited were:

1.The waka

2.flagstaff

3.marae

4.museum

5.treaty house

Some interesting things that I learnt were

The waka was 35 meters long.

We learned about how the moari people carved their weapons and carved pukana faces on their weapons.

The part of the trip I enjoyed the most was

Going into the museum.

I like the touch screens.
